EMPATHETIC: Anthy is typically quiet and observant– sometimes by choice, mostly because of her circumstances. The role of the Rose Bride has turned her more into a tool than a person, and for this reason she is rarely noticed and not usually spoken, so she's had centuries to watch other people without any restriction; she has both witnessed and been on the receiving end of the ugliest, rawest and most viscerally honest expressions of emotion. So, as you can imagine at this point she's pretty good at understanding other people's feelings even when they're trying their best to hide them.
While she often uses her ability to understand others for immoral purposes, it is this ability that also allows her to befriend individuals who are not honest in how they present themselves and allows for her to connect with them on a personal level.
RESOURCEFUL: She's lived under someone else's thumb for nearly all her life, which means she's had limited mobility and resources. Some might balk at such circumstances but they've made Anthy a quick and creative thinker. She has spent much of her existence under the impression that she can't directly fight against the rules forced upon her– she is in constant conflict with her inability to free herself and her desire to achieve her ends.
So instead of fighting them head-on she often gets her way by figuring out outside the box ways to shirk the rules. Much of the cast remained unaware of Anthy's involvement in guiding their fates. Each and every character in the series ultimately had their strings pulled by Anthy, and at no point were any of them ever made aware that it was Anthy who was twisting their arm without ever so much as laying a hand on them.
When faced with a problem she's very good at finding unconventional solutions. She's someone who's always been hell-bent on getting what's hers, so when push comes to shove she'll find a way to make what she wants happen.
OPEN-MINDED: This trait is a result of two key aspects in her life: the fact that she herself has done many morally ambiguous and often actively malicious things, and the fact that Anthy has spent much of her life trapped at Ohtori.
From systematically using the deepest desires and hidden secrets of the duelists to achieve her ends, to leading Utena into Akio's trap, Anthy knows better than anyone that she isn't a good person. For this reason she's not one to judge other people simply based off their morality or less than savory actions. That being said she's also fascinated by new experiences, things and cultures. She's likely spent centuries locked away in Ohtori, so as you can expect she'd love a change of pace and would not immediately balk at the sight of something new or unconventional.
GUARDED: The Rose Bride is not a person– she is a thing, a treasure to be won, one that will mirror your wants, whims, and hopes. Anthy has spent all of her life being passed around by other people and being seen as less than human because of her role as the Rose Bride.
Because people don't see her as a person she gets treated like a thing; trapped by her circumstances she has persevered physical and emotional violence from other people, and to extreme degrees at that. Even when not actively playing the role of the Rose Bride Anthy was seen as an outsider at Ohtori and spent all of her time there being alienated and bullied; seldom did anyone step in to help her. Even when they did it was typically for their own gain.
For these reasons Anthy is slow to trust and quick to go on the offensive if someone personally upsets her. After seeing the absolute worst of humanity she assumes most people are out for themselves, even after leaving Ohtori.
SPITEFUL: Anthy rarely forgives other people and she always gets even.
Being abused for so long and never getting so much as "sorry", even after the people who have harmed you have realized the error of their ways turns you into the type of person who is incapable of letting someone slight you without returning the favor. Anthy's methods of retribution were never direct or blatant but she holds onto every transgression someone else has made and returns the favor in kind.
Acting on her spite was, for a very long time, the only form of agency she had.
PASSIVE: While Anthy may get revenge when slighted she only ever does so in very round-about and passive aggressive ways. When faced with conflict she will seldom respond directly or confront someone. A culmination of her role as the Rose Bride and the centuries of alienation she's undergone have made it difficult for her to openly express her own wants and honest feelings.
As much as she hates being seen as a doormat or someone with no will of her own, the fact of the matter is that she's still learning what it means to be her own person. Not expressing any of her own desires was in its own way a coping mechanism as well, and even now there is an underlying fear that if she makes it too clear how she feels about something or how much she wants something it will be used against her or alienate her further from other people.
In her canon Anthy is lowkey this witch/god being that can do everything but I'm going to try and condense her abilities into a few key ones that would be realistic and fair in terms of game mechanics: the ability to create illusions, teleport at will and hex others.
Her illusions can be tangible and interact with objects and people but unless given permission by the other player they'll just be your run of the mill ghostly images that you can't touch.
Hexing is a bit more complicated and throughout her canon takes various forms: she's been able to force people to switch bodies and have long periods of bad luck as two examples. The commonality in how this power manifests is that the consequences of it are never actually good and involve some misfortune on the part of another person. This ability will never come into play without being discussed in advance with the other player in question.
- Really good with animals
- Pretty good at drawing
-Terrible at cooking to catastrophic degrees
- very knowledgeable botanist
- Plays the piano
- Despite the icons used Anthy will never be seen with glasses or with her hair pinned up. It may sound like a minor detail but it's something that's very important to her!
Anthy will be bringing her familiar and bestfriend Chuchu. He's a monkey who can't talk, but he understands human speech and is also a notorious little glutton of a man.
BLUE (#5B1DB8): It's a calm and soothing color, similar to how Anthy carries herself but also has a mysterious undertone much like her. Also her hair is purple/blueish?

Eight years ago, a secret society operating under the guise of a medical facility in AH Tokyo General Hospital attempted to uncover the secret behind “Gigalomaniacs” - people with the potential to turn dreams and delusions into reality. Those who showed psychic potential were used in human experiments to unlock their abilities. These attempts ended in failure.
Uki was one such child. Abandoned by her parents and left in the care of the doctors, she became a subject of the brutal attempts to create new Gigalomaniacs. Uki miraculously never lost her sanity or during these experiments. When the first New Generation murders were solved by Takumi Nishijou, the aftermath of his dramatic battle with the culprit caused an earthquake and a white light to shoot from the Shibuya planetarium. This white light was from a machine meant to create delusions, and when it exploded, children under an extraordinary amount of stress who showed potential for becoming Gigalomaniacs were granted with psychic abilities.
In the aftershocks of the earthquake, the doctors fled AH Tokyo General Hospital. Uki was left underground, tasked with caring for the test subjects who lost their sanity. She accepted this responsibility dutifully, believing it to be an order; she felt that she couldn't betray the doctors, despite their poor treatment of her. For years, she cared for these patients alone, locked in a dark basement with only short walks outside with the patients to look forward to. In the process, Uki discovered her psychic powers and her specific ability as a Gigalomaniac - the power to turn the thoughts and wishes of others around her into reality. Unfortunately, this ability is subconscious, and had a devastating effect on her: while she was caring for them, the patients wished for her to remain their caretaker forever. As a result, Uki stopped aging, her body frozen at the physical appearance of a 10 - 12 year old.
In 2015, Takuru Miyashiro begins his investigation of the new series of bizarre murders plaguing Shibuya. His investigation takes him to AH Tokyo General Hospital, and specifically the basement where Uki is being kept. Though he initially believes her to be in cahoots with the culprit, when Uki is rescued from the basement of the hospital, he soon realizes that she is not a perpetrator, but a victim of grim events. He and other fellow investigators take her to Aoba Dorm and clinic, where Takuru and his foster family live, and she becomes their newest foster sister. While initially hesitant to open up, the warmth of the dorm helps her break out of her shell.
Though she is only fourteen years old, Uki is responsible beyond her years. She has been caring for the sick and mentally damaged patients beneath AH General Hospital for six years, almost entirely by herself. Upon arriving at her new foster home, she cooks and cleans for the immediately, without ever asking anything in return. She even offers to help out the staff of a café they visit when the waitress complains about being busy, not quite understanding why she isn’t allowed to help. In both the common route and the Nono ending branch, where the characters at Aoba Dorm become a smaller family unit after tragedy strikes, Uki steps up as a big sister figure to Yuto when he needs it most. She is self-sufficient and attempts to make herself as little a burden on others as possible.
One of Uki's most surprising traits is her bravery. Her background, as isolating as it was, caused her to become anxious and introverted. And yet, despite her fear and anxiety, Uki has, time and time again, stepped up to protect her family and the people that she loves. When her foster brother Yuto is too afraid to ask, she is able to stare down a killer and demand answers from them, pushing past her very obvious tremors of fear. When her family starts to break up due to the events of the story, Uki immediately fills the roles she needs to, delaying her feelings of despair to make sure no one else worries. When she needs to do something to protect the people who gave her a home, Uki is able to push through her trepidation and fear to pay them back for everything they've done for her.
Uki is, at heart, an incredibly compassionate person. It even manifests in a physical sense with her psychic abilities: she is able to make the delusions and dreams of others into reality, but not her own. She is enough of a kind soul to care for dozens of patients without complaint; she has a small presence, but it is impossible for her to be rude to someone, even if that someone is a doctor that forced her underground. She believes the best in people, that people are generally trustworthy and worthy of being cared for, and that being well-mannered and kind will make her less of a liability to others, as well. Uki has a need to be caring and loved, though she will not let herself admit the latter - being courteous means that she tends to achieve it. Her bedside manner for sick or ill patients is beyond compare.
On the other side of the coin, Uki is incredibly self-sacrificing. As put by the game itself, she lives her life for the sake of others, and has no hopes of her own. She cared for the patients in the hospital with a kind and watchful eye, but at the expense of her own well-being. When she was rescued, she was incredibly malnourished and weak, but she insisted that she was fine so she wouldn’t bother her future family. She was abandoned by her parents when she was young, and left in the care of doctors who used her as a test subject, who constantly told her that she was meant only for research. Being tasked with caring for the patients in that hospital caused her to believe that her life is only for others to use, and that her happiness can only be achieved by the happiness of those that need her - she would rather the people around her be happy than be happy herself.
Uki is brave when acting on behalf of the ones she loves, but when alone, she is more anxious than brave. Her bravery extends only to when she has someone else to stand up for; on her own, Uki is more likely to retreat within herself and tremble instead of lash out. If the situation comes to fight or flight, Uki's instincts tell her to freeze instead. She often stutters over her words, trails off at the end of her sentences, tears up when nervous, and has trouble bringing up subjects that she is afraid will not go over well. She falls back on the most formal ways of speaking and titles, out of a subconscious need to appear meek and nonthreatening. She is much too afraid to ask for any needs or wants from anyone who might have the ability to give them to her, out of a fear of being abandoned or becoming a burden.
Finally, as genuinely kindhearted and compassionate as she is, Uki is exceedingly trusting. She believes the best in people, but as a result, she ends up putting blind faith in people that she shouldn't trust, especially those in a position of authority. This is not to say that she is foolish or immature - quite the opposite, actually, as Uki is very mature and refined - but her compassion for others leads her to believe that all people are as kind and gentle as she is. She believes so strongly in people that show her affection and love that she blocks out any possible indication of negative intentions. She did not mistrust the doctors who forced her underground despite the horrible treatment they gave her. Her misplaced trust in the true murderer made her unable to believe their identity once they were revealed. No matter how mature Uki may be, her compassionate nature means her kind heart is easily taken advantage of.
Uki is a Gigalomaniac - a psychic with the ability to turn delusions into reality, or “real boot” them. This power requires the presence of another person to work: in the game's lore, a Gigalomaniac's powers work by inserting their delusions or powers into the “dead spots” of another person’s brain to make them real. But unlike other Gigalomaniacs, Uki cannot real boot her own delusions, desires, or wishes. Instead, she can only subconsciously real boot the delusions of others around her. As an example, if another character thinks about going to the store to buy a cake, Uki may be able to real boot this. That character will experience leaving their home, walking into the store, paying for the cake, going back home and eating it, feeling everything as though it were real the entire time. However, they will not have moved in reality; no time will have actually passed, and they have not actually gone to the store or eaten a cake.
Although in general she can only real boot others’ desires, Uki, like all Gigalomaniacs, also has access to a unique delusional sword, called a Di-Sword, for whenever she needs it. This sword is illusionary initially (and only able to be seen by other Gigalomaniacs/psychics), but if another character is around for her to project the delusion of it onto, she is able to manifest it into reality. She isn’t a trained fighter and is a pacifist by nature, but she can be surprisingly fierce with it if she or her family is threatened.
The ability to create both situations and items can get pretty ridiculous, so I will be apping her with her power nerfed somewhat: Uki will have the ability to real boot situations and her Di-Sword, but will not be able to subconsciously create items out of thin air. Please let me know if I need to nerf this further!
Finally, psychics have a unique weakness to the (fictional) eleventh Rorschach image. When Gigalomaniacs see this image, or anything that looks like this image, they feel excruciating headaches and nausea. This image shows up around Shibuya in the form of unnerving Sumo Stickers to weaken and torture psychics who come upon it.
-- Like other children who experienced the Shibuya earthquake, Uki has Chaos Child Syndrome. In-universe, the extent of its effects are not fully known by doctors. This syndrome - a particular type of PTSD - is why Uki has her psychic powers. Those with Chaos Child Syndrome are weaker and somewhat sickly. Sufferers are easily identified wrinkly green-tinted skin, though they are unaware of this, as their collective psychic powers have caused them to believe they appear normal. At her current canon point, Uki is unaware of this, and if accepted, will be arriving in Awash with her strength and constitution reduced, but without the more obvious physical changes. (Please let me know if this needs changed!)
-- She has absolutely no ability with smartphones or technology—she didn’t even know what a smartphone was until the events of the story. Since she was essentially sealed underground for six years, she doesn't know much about more recent technology or pop culture.
-- She can clean like a professional, and is adept at typical housework like laundry, making tea and coffee, doing dishes, and the like.
-- She knows first-aid and typical medical treatments. Uki’s new home, Aoba Dorm, is presided over by a doctor. Once she recovered from her ordeal, she started to learn typical nursing procedures (medicines, first-aid, IV administering) to help out around the clinic.
-- She has started to learn simple recipes by cooking with her foster sister Nono, but her cooking is still a work-in-progress.
-- While she has amazing bedside manner for sick and injured patients, she's not that great at taking care of plants (as she explains, rarely seeing sunlight in the basement means plants could never grow there). That doesn’t stop her from adopting one anyway, though.
- Her Di-Sword, which isn't a weapon in the typical physical sense, but she can manifest it with her psychic abilities
- Her Gero Froggy backpack, which contains:
-- Two (2) individually wrapped pieces of bite-sized chocolate squares
-- Her casual clothes (a white blouse and denim overalls), purchased by Takuru and Nono
-- A picture of Uki and her foster sister Yui smiling, taken by her foster sister Nono
Extra item:
-- Her small, desk-size potted Schefflera plant
i. loyal.
Almost to a fault, Hawke is loyal to those that she considers to be her friends and family. Regardless of how dire or life-threatening a situation might become, Hawke won't walk away from a friend who needs her. It doesn't matter if they're being threatened by a powerful mage and their army or massive ox of a man who could cleave her half, Hawke stands by the people she loves. She doesn't even falter if they have betrayed her or abandoned her in her own moment of need.
Hawke stands by those she loves.
ii. unrelenting.
She's hardly held back by anything at all, often including common sense and self-preservation for the sake of doing what she believes to be the right thing to do. Although, her definition of "right" might differ wildly from the average person, she's also the first one to step up when the situation calls for it. When things are falling apart whether it be her own family or an entire city, she rises to the occasion even if she doesn't actually want to.
These things are a lot of work and responsibility and she doesn't always want to dip her hands into that. People start doing things like getting expectations, which can be frustrating for someone who would rather be horsing around in a tavern with her friends instead of fixing a myriad of problems people keep bringing to her attention after getting a reputation for being both capable and reliable.
iii. reliable.
The thing about Hawke is while she's often pretty put-off by regular requests for her help and answers them in an impressively rude manner, she still tends answer them regardless. Murder some bandits for coin and to keep the city safer at night? Might as well, they keep attacking her anyway. Rescue a child from their own bad decisions? Shit, okay. Templars would probably kill the kid if they got involved instead. Kill some slavers? Sure, fuck those guys!
Hawke's moral compass may be a little skewed and her priorities might revolve more around her friends than the greater good, but her heart is in the right place. She's the first one to try and cover for her friends, fixing whatever horrendous mistake they might have made that day, and her friends have returned that loyalty with their own. People—particularly her merry band of misfits—tend to naturally trust Hawke whether it be to adhere to her word or simply to lead her friends down spider infested caves for no expressed reason, which isn't always a good thing. Sometimes she screws it all up and sometimes she puts her friends in much more danger than she was expecting, but they stick by her regardless because she's never turned her back on them.
i. brash.
To put it lightly, Hawke has a strong personality. She is loud, outspoken, and unconcerned with what almost anyone thinks about her. She doesn't hesitate to speak her mind regardless of how rude or tactless it might be, often offending those around her or even worse—those who run the city she lives in and the guards who work for them. It's forced her into plenty of unpleasant situations, but it's never stopped her from vocalising her distaste for authority.
She's just lucky it's never gotten her killed.
ii. reckless.
While Hawke is capable of coming up with cunning and strategic plans, she often forgoes any of the planning process when she gets heated. Instead of thinking things through, she'll instead rush head-first into a situation with the expectation that she'll figure it out as she goes along. Sometimes this works out for her, on occasions when she can brute force a problem into submission, but hardly so for anything that requires a more delicate touch.
Namely, politics.
iii. crass.
Hawke has very little patience for stupidity or weakness. She's the first to openly mock someone whenever she feels the urge strike her and it doesn't matter to her if they're simply a stranger on the side of the street or the viscount of the city she lives in. If they didn't want sass, they should have gone to someone other than Hawke, but they did so that's what they get. Her friends are often subject to the same treatment, simultaneously being made fun of while Hawke tries to help work them out of the hole they've dug themselves into.
Charismatic. While first impressions might not be Impey's strongest suit, as he'll often come off as too flirtatious or cocky, his charm, kindness and ability to be so genuine is enough for people to stick around him anyway. He's the first to lighten up a tense mood, as well as the first to offer solutions to a problem. Because of this, he makes for a very good leader when the situation calls for it, and very easily inspires others.
Resilience. This goes for both physical and mental resilience, but through and through, Impey can recover from just about anything. He can take hits that would knock people out and still stay standing. This is partially due to the fact that he’s not actually human, but in general, he keeps himself in peak condition. Beyond that, Impey can also recover from difficult circumstances very fast. As stated above, he’s the first to break up a tense situation, and he rolls with all the teasing he gets from his friends with ease.
Intelligence. Though he might not seem it within the first conversation with him, Impey is incredibly clever. He boasts about being a genius engineer, and it’s not incorrect. He's constantly tinkering to figure out how to make things better or get his works in progress to be successful. While he does make dud inventions occasionally, the ones that work successfully are top of their class. Plus, he's proven himself to be quite the strategist as well. Though he may be a goofball about certain things, even in (actually, especially in) serious circumstances, he does plan things ahead of time, and quite thoroughly at that. When he decides to do something dangerous, everything is usually already planned out before he even leaves his home.
Reckless. As comes with any optimistic idiot, Impey's very reckless. He has trouble seeing the probabilities of outcomes, and instead simple sees things as "Options 1, 2, 3...", and will just choose the one that best suits his desires, no matter how hard it is to achieve. He does take necessary precautions and plan ahead (see above), but in the moment, he can make very hot-headed decisions. That isn't to say that his critical thinking flies out the window during intense situations, but his judgement gets horribly clouded by the fact that he wants the best possible outcome out of things. On top of this, Impey will often pull off dangerous stunts without a second thought because of his sturdiness-- which often gets him into some pretty risky situations.
Stubborn. Impey is… very set on his ideals. He gets very upset if things stray away from what he thinks is the right thing to do. Once he sets out to do something, he is going to strive for it, no matter if they’re long term goals or short term goals. Impey has yelled at a friend of his for killing an enemy while he was trying to diffuse the situation, and didn’t settle down until it was pointed out that they still weren’t safe and needed to leave (and he was still upset about it afterwards, so nothing was really resolved in the end. Whoops.)
Bleeding Heart. Impey's kindness is incredibly vast. So much so, his views on other people is very highly regarded, even for those whom he butts heads with or who have wronged him in some way. Killing someone is an absolute no-go, and even more, the guy can't find it in himself to even be angry with anyone for any extended period of time. Impey wants people to be their best selves, and that means everyone. But... this can be extremely detrimental, especially in cases where the person isn’t the type to be redeemed; or where doing all one can to keep someone alive is just going to end poorly. It can leave him very vulnerable to being manipulated or betrayed.
Impey is a vampire... which seems to be “a race that is in peak physical condition times 20” in his canon. He’s overly durable and athletic, but doesn't seem to do the whole "drink blood" thing.
Impey is an engineer! He likes to tinker and can invent useful stuff (sometimes)!!! He’s also an excellent cook, stated by everyone in canon who has eaten his food, so that has to count for something, right? Aside from that, he’s functionally just a class clown sans the class.
- 1 unnecessarily huge wrenchAnd his extra item is going to be his dog, Sisi! The most dapper dog ever.
- A tool belt, presumably with a combination of basic tools like screwdrivers, nuts, bolts, plyers, hammers, tape measure, and scissors.
- dumb goggles (safety first!)
